Workshares
We work hard and get dirty but we have a friendly crew and always have a good time on harvest days. Workshares volunteer on the farm for half a day (8am to 1pm) on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday, our three main harvest and packing days, in exchange for a share of veggies. If you are interested in participating as a workshare, please email us in advance and let us know when you'd like to come help out. Wednesdays and Fridays are our main workshare days, however if another day of the week is better for you we'd be happy for your help on any day - just let us know in advance when you'd like to come.
Bringing water is a must. We recommend you wear long sleeves and pants for protection and sturdy shoes. Also consider bringing a large brimmed hat, work gloves and snacks. Volunteer work typically consists of a variety of tasks including harvesting, washing and packing vegetables, and field work as needed.
Given the challenging nature of farm work, we ask that you do not bring your children under the age of 12, and anyone between the ages of 12 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
